My name is Jessica Jones, and I am a librarian/manager/information literacy advocate.

I read a lot, but that’s not what makes me a librarian. I love standardization, digitization, classification policies, and the Library of Congress Authorities, but that’s only part of what makes me a librarian.

I’m a librarian because I believe in and enable equal access to information.

Currently, I manage a public library branch, but I have also worked in academic and research libraries, and I have loved them all. I specialize in issues of information literacy, collection development, preservation, cataloging, management, and reference.
